The Village of Iznalloz
Here you'll find everything you'll need for day-to-day living, including; banks and a building society, post office, sports facilities, shops, bars as well as a health centre with emergency facilities. The ornate train station provides services to Granada and from there the rest of Europe via the AVE high speed train link.
A new golf course has just been completed only 10 minutes away from the development. Other courses can be played in Granada and Motril. Slightly further afield are over 40 courses on the Costa del Sol.
Ski in Spain
The nearby Sierra Nevada is home to Europe's most southerly ski resort at Pradollano. This resort is gaining popularity every year. Large scale environmental improvement programs have had a real effect in the town and strict planning controls have given the place a rather charming 'alpine feel'.
It has 14 ski runs covering around 65km of piste and as long ago as 1986 the area was recognised by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve.
Investment potential
In our opinion, this area is the "next star" of Andalucia. The total investment in the tourism infrastructure and the move from agriculture to a service based economy are gathering pace.
An example of this is the new proposed cable car link from Granada city centre to the ski slopes. At a cost of 73million euros and stretching over 19 spectacular miles it will be the world's longest cable car ride.
