My Spanish neighbor would like to sell his house project in Canjayar, in the Las Alpujarras region, 700 meters above sea level in Andalusia. Las Alpujarras is also known as the "Spanish Tibet" thanks its wonderful villages at high altitudes, fine and varied nature and its open culture. There is also a Buddhist monastery and several "eco-villages" in the area. The house is approximately 100 sqm and has an approximately 2000 sqm garden. In the garden there are many different types of fruit trees and space to grow vegetables and plant more trees. Drinking water is located on site and electricity in the area is solved with solar panels. The area is very nice with pure nature, open and welcoming residents and has sufficient water resources all year around thanks to the proximity to the mountains Sierra Nevada. The Sierra Nevada National Park starts opposite about 200 meters from the house. There you can ski higher up in the mountains but where the house is located winter temperatures are between 10-20 degrees and summer temperatures are considerably milder than on the coast, around 30-35 degrees during the day and 20-25 degrees during the night. Both the sea and the city of Almeria are located about 40 km from the house. The area is mainly inhabited by Spaniards, but there are also immigrants from the UK and other EU countries. Making the house habitable requires 30-40 thousand euros. Including the asking price, an investment of 70-80 thousand euros would give you a house that is worth at least 100 000.
Fruit trees: orange, grapefruit, olives, apple, tangarine, grapes, plums, etc.
